In this interview we discuss John’s views on Freemasonry and he addresses some issues I have with the institution. It was really interesting and he was very honest. I am thinking of doing a show about Aliens and U.F.O.’s in the near future and I will have John back on for that. It will be a lot of fun.

One of particle physics’ most elegant and well-known experiments – the so-called double-slit experiment – illuminates the way Bohmian mechanics can explain the measurements found in quantum mechanics.
In this experiment, physicists shoot particles through a screen with two vertical slits in two stages. In stage one, a large number of particles are fired simultaneously through the slits and the point of arrival for each particle is recorded on the far wall. The spots the particles leave form an interference pattern, a pattern common to all waves.
What makes the double slit experiment so interesting is that in the second stage of the experiment scientists fire single photons through the slits in succession; however, the pattern they make on the far wall precisely follows the wave form of when they were shot en masse.
Physicists refer to this as wave-particle duality, meaning that the quantum object can sometimes be described as a wave, at the two slits, and sometimes described as a particle, at the wall. This demonstration of wave-particle duality is an idea that Prof Duerr rejects.

The most obvious is the one where he wags his finger at the Irish for voting down another attempt by the EU to skirt their sovereignty.
