ANNOUNCING: TruthLoveFreedom on Truth Radio

Posted by Soul Real On April - 19 - 2008

That’s right. I am VERY happy to announce that we will be broadcasting a live radio show every Sunday night from 7 to 9 PM on Truth Radio. I will keep with the same format but due to regulations and licensing, I will no longer be able to play music on our show that I do not get expressed permission to play. We will also be breaking a few times for commercials which will help generate some the money I need to pursue many of my projects on the site. So please support our sponsors and let them know you are supporting them because you heard them on the Truth Love Freedom radio show.

There are stream links on the front page for dial up and broadband and we will be on stickam.com as well. This Sunday is my first show so I will be testing the equipment out and the show might be a little rough at first as this is my first truly live broadcast. I will continue to podcast every show for those who cannot listen live.

As if all this good news wasn’t enough, I am also pleased to announce that I am going to be producing shirts and hats on cafe press that will guarantee to awaken the sleeping masses. My goal for the shirts is to make people think an I have a very talented artist teaming up with me to produce them. Keep your eyes out for the store.

If anybody would like to advertise during the show, please contact Richard Palmquist at TruthRadio.com for prices?

I am really excited to see where this could go and thank you for all your support the last few years.

Not trying to be paranoid, BUT…..

Posted by Soul Real On April - 8 - 2008

Since I did the podcast about Brzezinski, part of which was about China, I have seen an influx of visitors to my site from China. Kinda interesting if I do say so myself.

It could mean nothing but it is highly improbably that it is the Chinese people surfing political sites because that is not allowed. Especially since I am critical of China and God forbid a Chinese citizen hear anything negative about the country they were forced to say they love.

Well, if it is nothing, then forget it. BUT, if it is who I think it is…..

A Cyber Pearl Harbor…Some Questions

Posted by Justin On April - 7 - 2008

I read this article on the website of Foreign Policy magazine, and I was struck by the following quote:

Foreign Policy: You mentioned earlier in discussing the Air Force Cyber Command that it’s not just cyberpenetrations of government computers that we should be concerned about, but also private industry. So, are you concerned about cyberpenetrations by foreign governments against U.S.-based defense contractors?

Richard A. Clarke: Well, yeah. I’m also concerned about penetrations of U.S. research-and-development firms, everything from pharmaceuticals to genetics to aerospace engineering—all the things we have to sell in our knowledge-based economy. We are a post-industrial, knowledge-based society. That’s what we sell to the world. If other people can steal it readily, then we won’t have much of a margin.

There’s been a lot of talk about a cyber Pearl Harbor. People say that I coined the phrase, and I’m afraid I actually didn’t. But, if we wait for that—just as we waited for 9/11 to do something about al Qaeda—if we wait for a cyber Pearl Harbor to do something about cyber[security], it may never come. But we will, nonetheless, be losing huge amounts of valuable information to our competitors and to cybercriminals who cost our society billions of dollars a year. Just because we haven’t had the big attack doesn’t mean that we should wait to act.”

Do you see what I see? Is the government not only concerned about “cyberpenetration” of its own networks but also those of private companies? And does the government expand this concern beyond the realm of private “U.S.-based defense contractors?” If so, then where on earth will they draw the line?

In this interview, Clarke, the one-time U.S. counter-terrorism czar, cites “everything from pharmaceuticals to genetics to aerospace engineering” as vulnerable to cyber attack by foreign governments and therefore under the protection of the new Air Force Provisional Cyber Command (AFCYBER.) In fact, he extends the threat to everything that can be sold in our “knowledge-based society.”

What exactly does that leave out. Is there anything in cyberspace that is not considered “knowledge?” Is there anything that you or I have ever done or said online that would not fall under the category of “knowledge?” Exactly what access will AFCYBER have to “cyber knowledge” in the name of protecting us from the “cyber-terrorists?”

Olympic torch relay in chaos

Posted by Soul Real On April - 7 - 2008

I just logged on to see that the Olympic flame had been extinguished 3 times due to protesters in Paris. If you are not aware, there is a huge contingent of people around the world who support a liberated Tibet. I also support freeing them from brutality of Chinese rule, however I cannot help but speculate why Tibet out of the many other victims of tyranny get as much attention. Perhaps because many nations facing similar circumstances are actually caused by the U.S. or its corporate sponsors. Just maybe it is because there is a large number of monks there and the progressives in our country have a tremendous interest in eastern religions. It could also be that this is one of the few countries to actually have sections of the population protesting unlike many other countries where they remain in silent fear. Then again, when the people of those countries stand up for themselves, it rarely makes the news until the resistance is squashed. When it is reported, it is reported it usually refers to the resistors as rebels, militias or terrorists. I guess my real question is, why is the media giving sooo much favorable coverage to this particular struggle and for a very long time? This has been in the works for a very long time and I wonder if I am the only one asking this question. Ok, I am not really asking the question, I am trying to get you to ask the question. It is apparent to me that this is a political maneuver to try and isolate China’s sphere of influence and in the mean time, hurt China’s image in the eyes of the people around the world. I mean, politicians are trying to remain in good relations with China but if the people across the world stand up, politicians can achieve their goal without having to do anything. All they need is the assistance of the lapdog media to report on it as if Tibet and the global community is united for the cause of democracy and liberation. Watch the news articles and the pictures, I am sure you will see it because I have to chuckle when the powers of the globe try to stand in a place of righteousness. Nothing is more ridiculous than that other then people actually buy it.
Here are some of the most telling pictures I can find.

Click Here to see more pictures. It is awe inspiring to see how well the media can conjure an emotion in people and comical at the same time. Dramatic pictures of people united with landmarks in the background. You have to appreciate the efficiency of the propaganda machine. Conveniently, they have the moral ground on this issue even though power is their true motivation.
